Victoria Reyes-Cheng

High School Student Support Coordinator

Victoria has been a part of the Austin Waldorf community for a number of years. Before becoming our high school student support coordinator, she was a high school Humanities teacher for many years. She has also previously served as high school chair, curriculum chair, a member of the College of Teachers, and a member of the Pedagogical Circle. Victoria is the proud parent of three daughters who were students at Austin Waldorf from kindergarten through G12.

Victoria values growth, learning, and transformation. Her work in human and organizational development has also fostered a strong commitment to the continental Waldorf movement, where she serves on the pedagogical section council and the board of trustees for the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. Additionally, Victoria has worked in teacher training institutes and as an independent consultant for domestic and international Waldorf Schools. Most recently, Victoria was invited to affiliate with Alma Partners, a diverse, multiracial, multigenerational group of consultants and facilitators who offer workshops, consultations, and curriculum review and development support to various Waldorf Schools in North America.

“It's comforting to know that our children are spending their days in a community that supports and seeks to know them individually. Not only do our children feel connected to their teachers, but my husband and I do as well.”
