Oil, fresco, tempera, bronze, or gold.

A statue, carved in intricate detail or a canvas splashed with paint and color. Those were the choices. On Friday, September 28th, the 7th grade turned in their projects. They each chose an artist from the Renaissance and were tasked with recreating one of their masterpieces. After weeks of work, we brought in our creations. It was fun to see all the art and how each person took the original and made it their own. Our classroom was filled with the beauty of the Renaissance.

“I appreciate that my grandchildren think here, that it is a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and that each child is honored for who they are.”
