Oil, fresco, tempera, bronze, or gold.

A statue, carved in intricate detail or a canvas splashed with paint and color. Those were the choices. On Friday, September 28th, the 7th grade turned in their projects. They each chose an artist from the Renaissance and were tasked with recreating one of their masterpieces. After weeks of work, we brought in our creations. It was fun to see all the art and how each person took the original and made it their own. Our classroom was filled with the beauty of the Renaissance.

“Waldorf education develops creativity, critical thinking, and analytical processing. A connection with nature and a sense of community are also nurtured. It is a well-rounded educational experience.”
