The Winter Fair is just around the corner and we need desserts donated to the Dessert Café!

The Dessert Café is sponsored by the 7th grade and is a favorite for all ages at the Winter Fair. The café sells pies, cakes, cookies, fresh coffee, hot cider, and special seasonal delicacies. Friends and families gather at festive tables to partake of delicious treats and warm conversation.

Baking together as a family is a great opportunity to get into the holiday spirit. Younger children will enjoy baking with parents or older siblings. For older students, this can be a great way to contribute to the Winter Fair.

What do I need to know about donating a dessert to the Dessert Café?

  • All desserts are welcome.
  • Desserts should be labeled (include an ingredients list) and be portioned into individual servings if possible.
  • Special diet desserts (e.g. gluten-free, sugar-free, etc.) are greatly appreciated, so if your family has a special diet, we ask that you bring your favorite.
  • Some typical donations are 1 pie, 3 dozen cookies, 2 dozen brownies, 1 loaf sweetbread, etc. Larger quantities are also welcome!

When and where should I bring my donation?

  • Friday, 12/7/18, we will be located at all drop-off and pick-up locations including kindergarten, lower & upper grades, and high school parking lots.
    • Look for a parent with a sign standing next to large coolers and each drop-off and pick-up location.
  • Saturday, 12/8/18, Dessert Café (located on lower grades playground)
    • Don’t worry, if you miss all the other pickups, feel free to drop your desserts off at the Dessert Café on Saturday. We appreciate all donations!
Baked or purchased desserts are all welcome!

When will I get my plate/pan/server back from the Winter Fair?

  • CLEARLY LABEL all items which you wish to have returned; items will be retrievable on the back porch of the main office Monday after the Winter Fair.
