Kindergarten Assistant

Heather found her way to the Austin Waldorf School in 2006, when her oldest daughter began her journey in the Sun Garden. She began working at Austin Waldorf in 2010, helping with morning and aftercare on the Kindergarten playground.

Heather moved into the Kindergarten Assistant role in the Star Garden and was there for four years before moving on to begin another journey at the Majestic Oak Preschool. Heather has also worked several summers as an assistant teacher in the Summer Garden program at Austin Waldorf.

Heather is very excited to return to the Rainbow Garden with Ms. Bridget. She feels so blessed to have the opportunity to spend her days working with children and experiencing the wonder and beauty of early childhood.

With her husband Dan, Heather has seen one daughter grow through 14 years at Austin Waldorf and graduate in 2020. The family continues their journey with two other daughters. Heather loves spending time in nature with her family, as well as hiking and gardening.
