Dana Shamir

Math, Computer Science, 9th Grade Class Advisor

Dana Shamir earned a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, in 1989 and then continued to get a  MA in Computer Science from that same university. After graduating, she worked as a software developer for over 10 years in various software companies in Israel. In 2005 the family moved to Austin and became a part of the Austin Waldorf School. In 2012, Dana received a 4-12 grade math teacher’s certificate degree from UTeach (at the University of Texas in Austin).

Dana enjoys yoga, pilates, live music, and spending time with family and friends.
