Cary Einberger

Cary Einberger holds a Ph.D. in German from Michigan State University, where she taught German and Humanities courses for over ten years.  During that time she led students on multiple trips abroad and taught at a German language immersion summer school.  She lived and studied in Freiburg, Germany and also spent time doing research in Düsseldorf, Germany.   Prior to joining the Austin Waldorf School, she worked in the culinary industry.  She especially enjoyed teaching High School students involved with the youth development organization, Urban Roots, cooking classes and nutrition workshops. She is excited to be sharing her love of German with AWS students.  When she is not teaching she enjoys vegan cooking, yoga, running, and dancing.

“It's comforting to know that our children are spending their days in a community that supports and seeks to know them individually. Not only do our children feel connected to their teachers, but my husband and I do as well.”
