He was also Director of the AWS High School and has taught a number of classes in the High School. Prior to working with AWS he ran a medical practice for 23 years, and taught at various medical schools and universities during that time. In addition, he has been a management consultant and the CEO and Director of four hospitals and clinics, as well as the Chief of Global Programs at an international NGO. He has worked on four continents, and chose to work in a Waldorf school as he was inspired by the philosophy and the educational environment that he found at Waldorf, where he felt he could make a difference to the lives of young people.

“My son started at Austin Waldorf in the 9th grade. He came from public school but was very excited about the change. The high school campout was the best thing that could have ever happened for my son. He formed very tight bonds over those days and truly began to feel like part of the family.”
