Carol Toole

Grades Student Support Co-Coordinator

Carol Toole began teaching kindergarten at Austin Waldorf School in 1982. Since then she has served Austin Waldorf as Enrollment Director, Adult Education Coordinator, Parent Educator, and High School Calligraphy teacher. She currently helps coordinate the Austin Waldorf Student Support Program, oversees the school’s literacy program, and provides Academic Language Therapy, movement therapy, and strategic tutoring to students with learning differences. Her Creative Living with the Young Child parenting series is offered annually to the Austin Community.

Carol holds a Waldorf Early Childhood Teaching Certificate, a BA in Educational Therapy from Prescott College, along with her training as a Dyslexia Specialist. She is a certified HANDLE Screener and holds a Level 1 diploma in Spatial Dynamics. Her interest in calligraphy, poetry, and creative writing add liveliness to her language skills classes. She has two grown children who have attended Austin Waldorf School.
