Niko Hilgerdt

Pedagogical Leader

Niko Hilgerdt holds a B.A. Liberal Arts and M.A. in Eastern Classics from St. John’s college and completed his Waldorf training at Antioch University in New Hampshire. Niko attended the Green Meadow Waldorf School from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Prior to joining the Austin Waldorf School, he served as the Pedagogical Administrator at the Waldorf School of Princeton. In addition to his administrative experience, Niko began teaching in public schools before picking up two Waldorf classes as a class teacher. He is also currently serving as a board member at Sunbridge Institute, a Waldorf teacher training center in Chestnut Ridge, New York.
