Parent Society Representative
Michelle Lemberger, a native Texan, relocated from west Texas to Austin in 1985. After earning a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas, Michelle taught for seven years for the Austin Independent School District before returning to the University of Texas to obtain her postgraduate degree in Dietetics. She has since worked as a registered dietitian in multiple clinical settings, which led to the development of her own consulting practice. She now provides clinical, educational, and food distribution guidance and services to a select group of clients and facilities here in central Texas.
Michelle has served as a community volunteer in several capacities. She was on the organizational board for Austin Maker Faire for five years, taught Austin Waldorf School summer camps for multiple years, and is a long time volunteer and supporter of Austin Humane Society. She has taken on many volunteer opportunities at AWS and serves on the Parent Society Leadership Council. She enjoys gardening, water sports, hiking, making, and building.
Michelle and her husband John have a son in the AWS class of 2026 and look forward to helping our school and community flourish.
