Joshua Goldstein

Joshua Goldstein, Class of 2009, passed away in a paragliding accident in the Slovenian Alps on July 10, 2018. He had paraglided all over the world and truly loved the sport. He was living at the time in Salt Lake City, Utah – where he worked as a programmer doing remote sensing image mapping.

Joshua graduated from Georgia Tech in 2013 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering – with honors. He also spent a year as a graduate student at Stanford University, studying Computational & Mathematical Engineering.

His interests included geospatial analysis, paragliding, and salsa dancing.

“The well-rounded, considerate, thoughtful people I've seen graduating from this high school have floored me. I'm so honored my family is a part of this school, this community, this village.”
