When we chose to send our children to Austin Waldorf School, we did so because we felt strongly that it was the best environment for them - as students and human beings. Entering our fourth year at the school, we are beyond pleased with our decision. Becoming a part of the Austin Waldorf School has given our entire family a sense of community the likes of which we have never experienced.

Embracing the Waldorf philosophy of a holistic approach to learning throughout one's life has nurtured the bonds within our family as well as with other families in the community, both socially and through our endeavors to be involved with the school and our children's lives. We are continuously impressed and inspired by the many individuals who make this community a strong, supportive and vibrant environment where we feel welcome and valued for who we are.

Waldorf has not simply been a place where we drop our kids off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon, but a place where each member of our family has been able to grow in mind, body and soul.
